Terms of Use

Short version: the core of Interleaf is free, there are no ads, and what you make in it is yours.

Your licence

WANG WENJIE grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Interleaf on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple's own Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. The app itself — its code, its artwork and its text — stays ours. Please don't copy it, resell it, take it apart or work backwards from it.

What you make is yours

You own everything you create in Interleaf. We claim no rights over it, we never see it, and we make no copy of it. Because there is no server copy, losing this device or deleting the app means losing what was on it unless you had switched on iCloud backup or exported it yourself. Please keep that in mind.

Free, and what Pro adds

The core of Interleaf is free, and there are never any ads. Pro is optional and gives you more room rather than more access: more capacity, the full content library, the extra collectibles, encrypted iCloud backup, and yearbook/poster export. Full planner PDF export is free. Nothing you have already made is ever locked away behind a payment.

The three plans

Lifetime (interleaf.apps.topxup.com.pro.lifetime) — a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It never renews.
Yearly (interleaf.apps.topxup.com.pro.yearly) — an auto-renewing annual subscription with a 7-day free trial for eligible accounts, as confirmed by the App Store before purchase.
Monthly (interleaf.apps.topxup.com.pro.monthly) — an auto-renewing subscription charged every month.

The App Store shows you the exact price in your own currency before you confirm anything.

How the subscriptions renew

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically for another period of the same length unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges your Apple Account for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends, at the price of the plan you are on. Subscriptions are managed — and cancelled — in your Apple Account settings: open Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions on this device. Only Apple can cancel one; we have no way to do it for you. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and Pro stays open until that day.

If the price of a subscription changes, Apple tells you beforehand and asks for your agreement; the new price does not apply until you consent to it. If a plan offers a free trial, the unused part of that trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription while it is still running.

Lifetime

The lifetime tier is a single purchase, not a subscription. It does not appear in your Apple subscriptions, it never renews, and there is nothing to cancel. It unlocks Pro on any device signed in to the same Apple Account, for as long as Interleaf is available on the App Store.

Refunds

Every purchase goes through Apple, so every refund does too. We cannot issue refunds and never see your payment details. Ask Apple through the Report a Problem page for your Apple Account, or through Apple Support.

Restoring a purchase

Reinstalled the app, or moved to a new iPad? Sign in with the same Apple Account and tap Restore purchases. That restores what you bought — not what you made, which never left the old device unless you had backed it up.

Fair use

Don't use Interleaf to break the law or to harm anyone, and don't try to defeat the parts of it that make it work.

No warranty

Interleaf is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, WANG WENJIE is not liable for lost data or for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

Changes

These terms may change as the app changes. The current version always ships inside the app and is published at https://interleaf.app.topxup.com/terms/.
